“ On a recent trip back to Toledo from Lansing my wife found this spot on Google and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman that sat us immediately. We were greeted by our server, Annie, with a pleasant greeting and smile . We explained to her it was our first time here and asked her for any recommendations. She went over several items. We ordered drinks and upon her return we took her up on the Spinach Artichoke Dip she had suggested. Served with plenty of chips the dip was full of flavor and was baked to a perfect temperature. For our entrees my wife went with the BBQ Slaw Burger. A burger topped with a generous helping of pulled pork. It was served with a heaping pile of sweet potato fries. Cooked to perfection my wife thoroughly enjoyed it( she took half home too much spinach dip lol) I ordered the Philly of the special menu(another recommendation feom Annie) this sandwich was served with big thick cut fries. This sandwich was loaded with shaved beef, peppers and onions. It was tremendous. The inside of the restaurant was decked out with railroad memorabilia and had a fire going in the giant fireplace. We will be returning in the near future. If in the area and looking for a great place to eat with outstanding service I would highly recommend Sidetracks. ”
“ We sat at the bar grabbed mock tails and dinner. It has been awhile since we have stopped in and we are glad we did. There was a wait when we got there at 7 which was fine and was moving fast. We jumped to the bar to eat dinner instead, it looked like they will a little short handed on staff but that made no difference, food was amazing, staff was friendly and we had a great time! We will definitely not wait so long next time! Fyi my favorite burger in town! ”
“ I'm from Grand Rapids, a local friend wanted to take me here. The burger was sooo good! The fries fantastic, the pickles hello did you see that batter? I had left overs which I'm hoping my air fryer cooks well! My friend said the bean soup was amazing as she has had in the past. I would go back. I mean how can you go wrong with homemade pickles and a seeded hamburger bun?! ”
“ Service and food is consistently good. Fun place to go. Crowd is mixture of ages, etc. ”
“ I had to update my review. I held my baby shower here in November and it was AMAZING!! The staff were so accommodating and wonderful, helpful and personable. The food was good as usual (they made us custom menus for the party that included a kids menu). Loved the way I was able to decorate, it looked great and accommodated 40 people. Cost wise, you are paying for the meals and drinks by the headcount, with automatic gratuity. It is a cost effective way to throw a medium size party, since it cuts cost of catering and location -while also saving your time on cleanup. Highly recommend for your celebrations, it has great natural lighting and cool retro vibes. Wouldn't recommend a party size much bigger than what I had, as we filled the space. ”
“ Sidetrack is pet-friendly, which made us happy as we don't have many pet-friendly places in our hometown. We brought our two dogs and were seated outside. They even have a dog-specific menu! Rather than order individual entrees, we split a few appetizers - pretzel bites, fried clams, and Reuben egg rolls. All three were delicious - I especially loved the beer cheese dipping sauce for the pretzel bites. We got a "pup plate" and the dogs split a rice, gravy, and burger lunch. They were really excited and happy to be there. There were yellow jackets swarming all over the patio - it really ruined our experience. I was stung on the hand. The staff did their absolute best to try and fix it - they poured some nectar far away from the tables, and they brought me an ice pack after I was stung, but if you're going to have an outdoor patio full of flowers, you should do more to make sure there aren't hives nearby. Or find a way to seat people inside or away from the wasps, even if we have dogs with us. I would return to Sidetrack, but probably not in late summer when this insect problem is at its peak. ”
“ Sidetrack is a great spot to grab some pub food in historic Depot Town, Ypsilanti. We love the fresh cut fries- always delicious. I gave the gazpacho a try - a special soup of the day. It was yummy!! I will definitely order it again if offered. The salads are fresh & one of my go-to dishes. The balsamic vinaigrette is always my choice. The sliders are always a good option. They have brunch specials on Sunday, along with an amazing over the top Bloody Mary bar. They also offer mimosas with $1 refills. I always want a dessert from here, but I am always so full. Give Sidetrack a try if you are in Ypsilanti! ”
